How to Use
For Canvas Repairs:
- Apply a thin layer of PixelTak with a paintbrush. The glue should appear opaque, but not solid white.
- Check tackiness after 5–10 minutes. If the surface is too porous and tackiness is low, you can apply a second layer before the first one fully dries.
- Allow the glue to dry for at least 4 hours. Keep the canvas in a clean, pet-free, dust-free area with no strong breezes during this time.
- Once dry, cover the area with silicone baking paper (not greaseproof or parchment) or Diamond Painting Cover Paper. Keep it covered unless you're actively working on it.
For DIY Craft Projects:
- Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, or any other contaminants.
- Apply a thin layer of PixelTak with a paintbrush. It should look opaque but not thick and white.
- Check tackiness after 5–10 minutes. Porous surfaces may absorb some glue and reduce effectiveness. Apply another thin layer before drying if needed.
- Allow to dry for at least 4 hours. Avoid contact with other surfaces during this time—PixelTak is strong and will happily stick to anything (carpets included).
- After drying, cover the area with silicone baking paper when not in use.
Clean-up:
PixelTak is water-based and cleans up easily with water. That said, it will stay sticky if not rinsed thoroughly. Be sure to wash any tools or surfaces (like your sink) to avoid lingering residue.
